This piece is made from what I believe is a rusted license plate (I found it on the ground)! Encaustic colors are heat fused to it in layers. I am inspired by walking around Asheville, North Carolina as the season changes. Check The Urban Art Retreat and Studio for encaustic workshops or en plein air gatherings.
