Alcohol ink is so much fun to use. It is very liberating. No expectations for a final product. Don't forget to have a glass of wine handy when you create. It makes it all the more fun when you gather with others to make alcohol ink on tile masterpieces.
These were painted on tiles from Habitat for Humanity. The tiles range in size from 6" x 6" to 12" x 24". Spray a layer of clear gloss on top when dry. I use Rust-oleum brand from the hardware store. Its good to have straws, a spray bottle of alcohol, a turkey baster, and a hair dryer handy when creating your masterpieces. You can use Sharpies to outline, but it isn't necessary. Just let the alcohol move the color around and watch the results unfold. Use gloves. Have fun!
